Customer Service Forum and Workshops
IMPA's Customer Service Forum provides a venue for Members to discuss and review utility customer service operations. The group's primary goal is to improve communication and customer service in member communities in order to grow customer support of hometown electric utilities. The Forum organizes customer service, marketing, communications and other training and workshops to meet the needs of Members.
IMPA's Reengineering Forum gives Members the opportunity to discuss improvements in the efficiency and cost effectiveness of utility distribution operations. The primary goal of the Reengineering Forum is to review and launch projects and programs that reduce Member amterial/contract costs through group involvement and joint purchasing. The Forum meets regularly to investigage and recommend ways to make distribution operations more efficient and cost-effective.
