Renewable Energy Demonstration Projects
IMPA and its member communities developed a green technology demonstration project to provide member communities and consumers with examples of renewable energy technologies available in our area. The projects also serve as a resource for consumers looking to install renewable, on-site generation. The demonstration projects are located at IMPA’s headquarters in Carmel, Indiana, and were made possible by financial assistance from a federal grant program administered by the Office of Lieutenant Governor, Office of Energy Development
. All systems were designed and installed by ECI Wind and Solar of Fairmount, IN. Structural design, permitting, and other various project aspects were handled and verified by Perkins VonDeylen Architects of Indianapolis, Indiana.
