We believe that a strong industrial and commercial base
helps support the overall welfare of a community.

One of the great things about a public power community is that IMPA’s Members are committed to helping business thrive in their community.  Unlike investor-owned utilities, IMPA’s municipal utilities are non-profit and their top priority is to provide low-cost, reliable and environmentally-responsible electricity.   In addition to electric utility revenues, businesses support the local tax base and contribute to the health and strength of these municipalities.
