The Indiana Municipal Power Agency works with members and utility personnel to provide up-to-date information on topics of importance to municipal electric communities.

The Indiana Municipal Power Agency works with our members and other industry personnel to keep abreast of topics relevant to public power and other industry-related issues.

The Agency produces the Municipal Power News for member communities, a periodic newsletter customized with news and happenings for each member city and town.  Additionally, the Agency distributes the bi-monthly IMPA Wire publication containing IMPA-specific and industry news.

Town of Centerville Celebrates Ribbon Cutting of Centerville Solar Park

CENTERVILLE, IN – Officials from the Town of Centerville joined with representatives from the Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA) to cut the ribbon on the Centerville Solar Park on Friday, November 6th. Centerville joins a growing list of IMPA member communities to have a solar park.

Winamac's Brad Zellers Earns "Seven Hats" Award

Brad Zellers, Winamac Town Manager and Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA) commissioner, won the American Public Power Association’s (APPA) Larry Hobart Seven Hats Award. The prestigious honor was awarded to Zellers on Tuesday, June 9th at APPA’s Virtual Summit & Business Meeting that served as an online substitute for the National Conference this year.

On Monday, June 8th, Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power (CEL&P) was awarded the American Public Power Association’s (APPA) Sue Kelly Community Service Award.
