IMPA June Electricity 101 Workshop
Are you a new utility employee, city representative or elected official in an IMPA member community? Would you like to learn more about your local municipal utility and the electric utility industry? IMPA’s Electricity 101 program provides insight and a foundation on the electric industry, its structure, how it works and how regulations/policies affect the industry. Attendees will also examine customers’ uses of electricity and billing to understand why this is important to officials or economic developers when looking at policies and responding to potential development, growth or challenges of existing customers. Attendees will also improve their understanding of their electric utility to help create effective policies around the utility.
