Argos offers new facility for manufacturing business to 'hit the ground running'

6/5/2018

ARGOS -  Officials in Marshall County will Wednesday cut the ribbon on the nearly $2.8 million Argos Manufacturing Center. The facility, which received $400,000 in Regional Cities Initiative funding, is in the town's 75-acre industrial park.

The building covers 50,000 square feet, but the Marshall County Economic Development Corp. says it is expandable to up to 300,000 square feet. The EDC says it hopes the facility will be as successful as the last one, which helped attract Pretzels Inc. to Marshall County in 2016.

The EDC adds having the shell building ready to go will help speed up the process for a new business to begin operation. The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m.
