NTK to Break Ground on $100M Anderson Plant

6/7/2017

ANDERSON - Officials are set to break ground this morning on a 300,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Anderson. Japan-based NTK Precision Axle Corp. is investing more than $100 million to build the facility, which it says will create nearly 200 jobs by 2021.

NTK announced plans for the facility in March and expects to begin production at the facility in October 2018. The company, which is a joint venture involving Japan-based NTN Corp., also has a facility located in Frankfort.

Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and Anderson Mayor Tom Broderick will be joined by executives from NTK at the groundbreaking ceremony.
