Columbia City-based DOT America Inc. has announced plans to further expand operations in the Whitley County city.

COLUMBIA CITY - Illinois-based Warner Electric LLC has announced plans to grow its Whitley County operations. Financial details of the expansion were not disclosed, however the Whitley County Economic Development Corp. says the manufacturer will add new equipment at its Columbia City facility and add jobs.

One of the country’s fastest-growing transportation and logistics companies is making plans to open a massive distribution center northwest of Indianapolis that could employ 1,160 workers.
